The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Moving Again~

So, a few of you may know already, but I'm moving back to NH! :iconlachoirplz:

While normally this would mean I failed, this time it's grandpa's fault!

So, while I was at my computer I got a message from mom, telling me that grandpa and grandma were having them move me back. Turns out, after some digging, grandpa was being his selfish old self. We believe that he thinks that because dad might not move down for another four years due to his work contract, he was gonna pay for my college. Which is complete BULLSHIT. I would pay for college, not him o3o we would never do that to him. I also think that he can't buy the things he wants around here, since he has to spend it on food and essentials for me.

Well, on December 13 I'm taking a Greyhound back to Allentown PA, where a family friend will take me in until dad comes down and drives us back to NH.

In all honesty I'm excited, not only do I get to see my family and friends again, I will never have to live under this stingy bastards roof again. Hooray! :dummy:

Anyway, this means that those commissions I ordered and all payed off will be the last ones for a while, since I will have to give up my job and then go get another o3o

And even then, I might move in February, so....yeah, no commissions for now o3o

Anyway, I know I've been pretty slow on writing things, I'm sorry OTL

It's just difficult for me, where inspiration is lacking ._.

However, I do have a ReavHime story in the works, and I am planning on writing a few other things up, which you will see sometime soon hopefully (No promises, depends on my life, work, and my mood)
