Poem Night: Reaver (Masks)Reaver's eyes glance over the crowd in front of him, gulping softly. He had never been in front of such a crowd of people before and to be truthful it was unnerving him slightly. But a lot of his allies and Morihime had shown up to listen to him recite this poem. Hell, even Nemesis was here, grinning smugly at the worried Reaver. He frowned, his eye twitching. Perhaps after this, he would punch his annoying brother in the face. But right now, the crowd was waiting. With a sigh, he took a breath, and began to recite, his voice soft and somber.
Every day, my first task
Is to put on a simple mask.
It is a bland mask, wooden and plain
No mouth to disclose my unending pain.

Every day, my next task
Is to decorate the simple mask.
A multitude of smiles and frowns
Or paint it, make it look like a clown
Such a variety of colors
To dazzle and blind
All of this to hide
That I am slowly dying inside.
