Name: Unknown

Alias: Chimera

Race: Alien, Parasitic Creature

Sex: Asexual (usually is referred to as a he due to deep voice, however is self-reproducing and replicating, and as such bears no genetalia)

Age: Unknown, although known to be at least 450~ years old

Alignment: Evil

Occupation: Supervillain

Height: 8' when in full form, 7" when parasite

Weight: 200-300 lbs. full form, 1 lb. in parasitic

Appearance: In full form, Chimera has a very recognizable shape. He is thin, with gangling arms and legs, his arms reaching down to his waistline. His hands and feet have claws, and a large, reptilian tail is attached to his back. His skin is smooth, with grooves and waves over parts of it. His entire body is midnight black, with the exception of his torso's front, leading up to the underside of his mouth and chin, which is blood red. His head is arrow-shaped, much like a snake but with no visible mouth parts. He bears four eyes, each different in color, and has a small set of slits for his nose. Chimera's skin moves and shifts underneath every so often.

In his parasitic form, Chimera is a very small worm or leech-like creature. It's body is smooth and rather slimy, with a large rounded front that lessens in width and tapers to the point at the end. It's skin is the standard black on it's exposed parts, and red on it's underside. A large eye is fitted upon the front, and another on the back of it's body.  On it's underside, Chimera has a large mouth spanning it's body, with small tendrils inside of it. On it's sides, four small spider-like legs can be produced, allowing it to crawl and move around easier. When attached to a host, Chimera grows, infusing into their bodies and looking more like a living infection than a parasite.

Right now, Chimera is attached to a 12-year old kid. The kid's hair is blonde, and his eyes are Chimera's central ones. He is rather small, and lean, with pale skin. His host wears a large black cloak, as well as a set of jeans and a black t-shirt. The cloak can be left behind, allowing Chimera to blend in rather easily to a crowd. He wears a necklace with a worm motif on it, a sign of his vanity and a keepsake of his.

Personality: Chimera is a vain and prideful being, disguised by it's lack of empathy and condescending nature. Having lived for over hundreds of years and manipulating others has given him the belief that most other species are weak bags of flesh, and can be controlled as easily as one could control a puppet. It is particularly fond of degrading humans and like species, as they are especially corruptable and controllable, even without his powers working on them.

In dealing with others and enemies, Chimera takes on a manipulative stance, enjoying from the bottom of his heart at tugging at the strings of others. He uses slick words to try and make them doubt themselves, or to lose focus and become prey to his own attacks. However, when the tables are turned, Chimera is rather agitated easily, bearing an irritated look on his hosts face. He is also rather intelligent and sneaky, able to discern escape routes and slip away unseen when the tide of battle has turned.

In full form, Chimera is extremely prideful and arrogant, so much so that he would take on the Avengers without so much as a care, he is so confident of his powers. He would even take the Hulk on one-on-one, he is assured of himself. In full form, he is also much more direct and gains a sadistic streak, enjoying the mental and physical torture of those he hates and despises.

Powers:

-Shape-Shifting and Copying: Chimera's entire body is made up of hundreds of thousands of possibly millions of worms in full form. These worms have the ability to "camoflague" themselves by changing shape, form, color, even texture and molecular composition. Due to the fact they all have a singular collective conscious, Chimera can shapeshift into anything or anyone he has ever viewed, becoming a perfect copy with voice and everything. If he has absorbed genetic material from someone, however, Chimera can go further and copy their memories and powers for himself. Because of this, he has amassed a rather large amount of stolen abilities, however these powers weaken the older the amount of genetic material. However, if Chimera completely devours a person, he permanently gains access to their memories and abilities.

-Enhanced Senses And Body: While being able to absorb and steal others powers and abilities, Chimera also possesses formidable skills of his own. His four eyes give him enhanced vision that can see greater distances than a sniper scope. His hearing is also very acute, as all of the worms have their own way of hearing sounds and gives him a "field" to hear and detect around him. His body is also incredibly sensitive to vibrations, and can pick up on marching footsteps or a crash from a few miles away. His strength as a collective is enough to punch holes through buildings, and his speed can catch up to speeding cars with ease, making his natural abilities very intimidating.

-Parasitic Control: The main ability of Chimera is the fact all of his worms are parasitic. These worms crawl in through the skin or attach to the outside of the skin, and once attached allows Chimera control over one's body. From there, he can force a person to do his will as long as he is stronger than their will and inner strength. If multiple parasites or a large-type parasite is attached, then Chimera gains access to their brains, and could control a person stealthily. This allows him to infiltrate and corrupt the enemies numbers without them noticing.

-Body Reformation and Regeneration: Since his body is composed out of worms, normal attacks that would cripple or kill a person will not work, since the worms can simply reproduce more , or he can change his shape so weapons miss hitting anything. There are no vitals or organs within him, so anything to damage vitals are rendered useless. The worms themselves also have a high metabolism and reproduction rate, so by devouring each other or the dead worms, they reproduce and create many more than that devoured, allowing Chimera to regenerate any part of his body. If split into millions of pieces, Chimera can simply reform himself as well, making him extremely difficult to actually kill.

-Psuedo-Immortality: To ensure that even if his body is destroyed and all the worms gone, Chimera has placed pieces of his worms in hidden areas all over the world, just to ensure that if one body is gone he can swap his mind to another pile and reform himself almost indefinitely. Along with this, Chimera has a extreme longevity, enough to be at least 450 years old or older, as well as hinting that his race could live for a very long timespan in human years.

Weaknesses:

-Sonic Vibrations: Chimera is only able to hold himself together with his collective consciousness among the worms. However, this consciousness gives orders to the body through the worms via a frequency unable to be heard of in the human hearing. As such, if one were to use a counter frequency, one could possibly force the worms in Chimera to go against orders, changing him into shapes or forms and make him more vulnerable. On the flipside, one could break the connection between the worms and the collective conscious, and make Chimera fall to literal pieces.

-Extreme Cold: While Chimera can operate in the extreme cold, at 30 below freezing the worms bodies begin to slow down, as if entering a hibernation state. If the temperature drops ten more degrees, the worms insides will begin to freeze, damaging Chimera as a whole and making him easier to destroy.

-Parasite Form: While it is extremely stealthy and small, Chimera's parasite form lacks virtually any kind of defense or attack besides controlling one's body and mind. As such, if found out off a host of pulled off of a host, Chimera will be extremely easy to kill without the need to kill a mass of worms.

-Arrogant/Pride: While he does possess intelligence, Chimera's arrogance towards humans and other creatures has proven to be his downfall to his enemies multiple times, as he underestimates them when he has the upper hand or advantage and makes small mistakes. These mistakes tend to be used by his enemies, and they backfire in Chimera's face.

-Power Loss: Chimera can't normally switch between his full form and his parasite form. While he can easily change into parasite form by hosting the mind in one of the worms, Chimera can't switch back unless he has a significant amount of energy, harvested from his host and others. This means Chimera is vulnerable and must wait a while before he can retake full form, and makes him a bit weary about facing unadvantageous situations in it, for if he loses full form he has to start all over again.

History: Chimera apparently came to Earth during the Dark Ages, brought about when a foolish cult found an artifact of his homeworlds that served as a doorway for him to slip through in his parasite form. From there, Chimera took control of the cults leader, and began to manipulate and control them into feeding them sacrifices, regaining his power slowly by harvesting life force into his parasitic body. However, before he could finish, knights held a raiding party and struck down the cult, with Chimera barely escaping by attaching himself onto a nearby dog and fleeing.

From then on, Chimera figured a plan of harvesting a little at a time, switching hosts over the hundreds of years on earth, gaining intelligence and knowledge of humanity and history. He was almost destroyed accidentally quite a few times, but somehow managed to slip away from death. Over the years he travelled, Chimera also began to reproduce minute quantites of worms, which burrowed underground and hid from nature, should his body ever be destroyed before he could ascend to full form.

As time and wars went on, Chimera began to view the world as something corrupt and broken, and easy to rule. His eyes began to focus on conquering the world, and filling it with his own kind, creating a new world for his species. Most of his past before coming to Earth is unknown, except for the fact that most of his race was destroyed in fear of what they could do, and only few survivors exist besides Chimera. He donned the name Chimera late into World War 2 as well, finding a soldier to feed on who had knowledge of Greek Mythology, and decided that it was an appropriate name.

From then until the 2000's, Chimera worked, his energy gathered as he began to set a plan to control and create his new world in motion, taking possession of powerful individuals in business, politics and the military alike, amassing a small fortune of money and technology to tempt and coerce others without being seen, manipulating all the while from the shadows. He also has been studying the heroes of the world, including organizations like Hydra and S.H.I.E.L.D, lying in wait to destroy them should they become an issue. Chimera recently has taken a large interest in the Avengers, and set aside an agenda to deal with them should they discover his presence. Recently his old host died, and he switched to a young boy to act as a shield and to make him appear more innocent, playing off the hearts of others with it.

Quotes:

"Humanity is just like the others I have encountered. Weak, corruptible, stupid. I have been around long enough to see how and what makes you humans tick, and I have everything I need to make sure they remain blinded by their own greed as they work for me."

"You are an annoyance, a pest. And pests like you need to be removed."

"I am Chimera, and you have no choice but to follow and serve me."
Oh look something NOT for Bleach! :iconlegaspplz:

Yeeeah, I've had this guy in the works for a bit, not sure if he's OP or his history is jumbled but thought I might as well post him~

this is Chimera, my super villain for Marvel! As you can see from him and Miedo I got a thing for amorphous monstrous kinds of things, they are pretty badass

although technically this guy existed before Miedo 8D

anyways, tell me what you think and enjoy~
