Vizard Mask: Anippe's mask takes the form of a Peregine Falcon. It has yellow highlights around the eyes, and tinges of dark gray on the edges of the mask and the feather pieces the mask possesses.

Build: Anippe has a slightly bigger, endomorph physique and being a larger girl overall, with small amounts of chubbiness on her body. Clothes: Anippe normally has two sets of clothes, depending on the actions of the day. If it is a casual or nice day, Anippe wears simple-colored sundresses that reach down to her knees and sandals. The sundresses colors are usually either purple, orange or blue. If she's having a more active day, she'll wear a set of jeans and a tank top, with a jean jacket over it. She wears a pair of sneakers when going with this outfit. She also possesses a pair of black reading glasses that she usually keeps on her person.

Zanpakuto: Gekisho (Japanese for "Severe Heat"), Fire/Heat Type. Anippe's sealed zanpakuto takes the form of a standard 60cm Katana, with elegant gold and brown wrappings around the handle, and a brown sheath.

Shikai: The release command is Agemasu (Japanese for "Raise"). Anippe activates her release by raising the blade vertically and lowering it to chest-height and calling out the release. A blast of gold reiatsu and heat erupts around Anippe, her blade changing quickly. In Shikai, Anippe's blade becomes a gold and black khopesh, reaching about the same length as her normal zanpakuto. The blade is black, highlighted with a golden trim running along the inner part of the blade. The handle is gold and wrapped in brown leather.

Nigemizu ("Mirage" in Japanese): Anippe's primary ability. Gekisho passively heats the air in an area around Anippe, distorting it slightly. As the heat reaches it's strongest point, Anippe creates mirages from this, tricking and fooling her opponents. Her mirages can be mostly anything, ranging from herself to objects or other people, along with camoflaging herself in the area. The range on the field is 40 meters, and while it is strong the illusions can be percieved easily if one pays close attention. As one also draws closer to a mirage slowly, they could point out inconsistencies as with normal desert mirages.

Homura ("Blaze" in Japanese): A more offensive ability of Anippe. Focusing the heat of her zanpakuto into her sword itself, the blade turns red-hot before catching fire. Harnassing the blaze, Anippe can either fight with the flame blade or by sending out the flames in a large blast. The range is short and once Anippe does this it takes approximately 90 seconds in order for her to be able to use it again, and when using the flame blade extension it has a time limit of 3 minutes. Water does put out the flames, as well as anything that would normally stifle a flame.

Reiatsu: A golden-orange color. The feeling is hot and dry, and can possibly cause dry lips and small cuts to open.

Brief personality: Anippe is a logical person, perhaps one of the more logical and thoughtful people in the Vizard's ranks. She likes to work things out in her head and can overthink things, however this doesn't mean Anippe isn't about fun either. The Vizard likes to enjoy herself and life, she just puts thought into her actions and can be rather careful when doing so. However, if she gets passionate behind something Anippe can be quite relentless, doing all in her power to accomplish the task she set her mind to. In short, depending on the situation depends on how Anippe reacts, making her rather well at adapting in social settings or even in battle. Anippe also comes off as a bit of a sarcastic person, and can make sly jokes and jabs at those she likes or is friends with. However, she isn't out to hurt those she cares for and if she ends up hurting them will do whatever she can to make it up to them. All in all, Anippe is a logical, kind-hearted lady.

History: Anippe was born in Egypt to a Japanese scholar and a merchant, and lived her life in relative peace. She worked at her family's merchant store once she reached her early teens, serving at keeping it clean and taking care of business when she had to. It was rather boring, so from time to time Anippe would sneak out into the desert and explore around the town, taking great care not irritate any dangerous animals or get herself killed. However, it was during one of these walks that Anippe found herself stuck in a sandstorm. She ran to the nearest shelter before it caught her and hid, waiting out the storm. After time it passed, however, Anippe realized that the storm had thrown off her sense of direction and covered any landmarks pointing to her village. Now she was lost in the desert, with no way of knowing which way to go.

Lost in the desert, Anippe wandered for a few days, trying desperately to survive. Unfortunately, death came hidden in a blessing. Finding a small oasis, the lady thought she could survive, but a swift strike from a sunbathing cobra left the lady a painful death. Her soul, freed from her body, now wandered the desert alone and afraid. She actually drew close to transforming into a Hollow as she walked, before reaching civilization. A Shinigami found the wandering soul and performed a Soul Burial, sending Anippe to the Rukongai.

As a Plus, Anippe enjoyed relative peace for a while, but before long she began to get hungry. She talked to some friends about this and they pointed her to the Seireitei, where she calmly accepted and applied to be a Shinigami. During training, her intelligence made her excel at Kido, to the point where she had the highest marks of it in her class. She allowed this to carry her to the 13th Division, where she worked and practiced hard, becoming a Lieutenant in a shorter amount of time than most, having gained her Shikai quickly as well. 

However, once she reached Lieutenant her progress seemed to slow, as she enjoyed her spot and did not wish for the responsibilities of a Captain. She began to socialize and work with her peers, making her a favorite around the Division and kept things up until she received a message from the Kido Corps Commander, Hataya around one hundred years ago. He spoke of an experiment and asked for her and other Captains and Lieutenants, and Anippe accepted. Her curiosity grew the night of the experiment as she watched Hataya speak and express about the Hollowfication gas. However, when things went wrong she, among the others, were infected and turned mindless, causing chaos around the Seireitei. Hataya managed to save the group and fled to the World of the Living, where they were now exiled.

Anippe, while initially outraged was one of the first to accept the inevitable, mastering her Hollowfication quickly with Hataya's help. Seeing this as a new thing to study initially, it wasn't uncommon to see the lady reading and borrowing books from the voodoo man. She learned and trained enough to be able to amplify her strengths with her mask considerably, and even practiced her Kido skills to a better extent. She continued to train and work with the Vizards as time went by, eventually finding her own job and place so to speak in the World of the Living and Za Bagabundo.

Alias: Captain Isaac (Former), Isaac of the Waves

Race: Arrancar

Nationality: Moroccan

Hair: Black ( www.sanjeev.net/colors/color-c… ). His hair is shoulder length and straight, with two braids on the right side of his cheek.

Mask Fragment: Bottom Jaw of a barracuda, split; both sides of the bottom jaw are aligned on the left and right sides of his chin/lower jaw, the teeth reaching up and pressed against his cheeks.

Build: Isaac has an mesomorphic build with dark skin tones ( www.art-paints.com/Paints/Cera… ). His body is weathered and roughened up by years on the sea as well as fighting and training.

Clothes: Isaac wears a modified Arrancar uniform, much like his sister. He sports a sleeveless open vest, revealing his chest and body and a set of white baggy pants held up by a black sash. He wears leather boots that come up partially on his legs, and a bandana around his hear every now and then. Isaac also sports his wealth, wearing rings and gold necklaces upon himself when not in serious combat as a way of showing off.

Former occupation: Numeros 43 of Los Noches

Zanpakuto: Barracuda ("Barracuda" in Spanish); Water Type. Isaac's zanpakuto takes the form of a classic pirate's cutlass. It is around 50cm long, making it shorter than the standard katana zanpakuto. The blade curves slightly and a golden basket handguard serves for it's pommel and guard. The wrappings on the handle is ice blue and dark blue.

Resurrecion: The release command is Desgarrón ("Rip" in Spanish). To release the blade, Isaac reverses his grip and swings the blade in a side slash, forming a water trail that erupts, sailing upwards as it engulfs the man. Once it's done, the water disperses, revealing his form. In this form, Isaac's arms and body are covered in scale-like bones, a reflective look to them. His arms grow fin-like blades on the forearms and claws on his hands, with his back also possessing a fin on the back. The bones on his face grow, now bearing to the top and bottom of a barracuda's jaws on both cheeks. Isaac's teeth also become sharp and pointed, and bone pieces adorn his hair.

Engañar ("Deceive" in Spanish): Isaac's main ability, and his most tricky. Like Great Barracuda's from which his Resurrecion is based, Isaac can change his color and skin patterns, effectively camoflaging himself and becoming extremely difficult to spot. This allows Isaac to sneak around and move quickly, delivering fatal blows with his claws, fins or other attacks with the opponent never seeing it coming. There is a discrepancy where Isaac is when camoflaged, however, and when he moves it is easier to spot if paying attention, rendering the camoflage rather limited against those with higher reiatsu or higher perceptive abilities.

Estela ("Slipstream" in Spanish): Isaac generates water on his body, and uses it to blast forwards in an extremely fast and short burst. This burst of speed increases the potency of Isaac's attacks, and allows him to slice through objects one normally couldn't like steel with ease. Isaac can also perform these bursts in quick succession, changing the direction so that he runs by and slices an opponent multiple times in rapid succession. However, this burst can only go about 20 meters per dash, and he can't change direction during the burst. This attack also simply increases his speed and cutting power, not his physical capabilities, so wounds and blows on him during this will still hurt him and even incapacitate him.

Desgarro ("Tear of muscle" in Spanish): Isaac's last ability. The Arrancar forms a pair of water jaws on his hands, charging up and generating more water. Once he reaches his peak or the desired strength. He fires them in a straight line, destroying everything in their path until they reach the target distance. The longer the charge, the farther it goes and more powerful the ability is. The water is very crushing and able to break through concrete without much difficulty. As of right now, Isaac can fire a blast at max power that can go to 50 meters and is comparable to a lower-level Espada's Cero.

Reiatsu: Ice Blue. The reiatsu is very smooth and streamlined, as if made for speed and movement.

Brief personality: Isaac is a bit of a materialistic man. He likes to have items of wealth and expense, he likes having gold and jewelry and such because of his time as a pirate. He values items over many things and views them as signs of status and power. However, familial and close relationships are something he values more, due to the fact that he has lived and worked with his sister his entire life to survive, be it his time as a pirate or a Hollow. Out of the two, Isaac is more laid-back in general, being a little more easy-going and cocky. He can be a bit of a show-off at times, and doesn't like to be put down or belittled. However, with that sort of cocky and arrogant attitude, Isaac possesses a shrewd cunning and cautious nature from his time on the high seas, having learned to never trust anyone until proven otherwise. He can be patient and take his time, especially on planning heists and raids with his sister, and can be rather clever and persuasive. All in all, the man is one of layers, having multiple facets to his personality that most don't see from the start.

In battle, there is a difference however. Isaac during a serious fight is himself more serious, focusing and calculating. His attacks and movements are relentless, brutal and swift, and he doesn't play around as much. He works in tandem with his sister, creating a duo of very dangerous and efficient fighters.

History: Isaac and Joyce grew up during the early 1700's, when the Golden Age of Piracy took place. He and his sister were slaves, their original names replaced with numbers as they were sold and worked on a plantation in England. However, this plantation was rather valuable and an onslaught of pirates attacked the place, ransacking it. Seeing an opportunity, Joyce disguised as a male and the two begged to join the pirates, to which the captain agreed. They were set free and adopted the names Isaac and Joyce Valentine.

From then, life was tough for the two sea urchins. They struggled to gain strength aboard the ship, having to learn to cheat, steal and thieve their ways through life. However, the two were rather good at being charismatic and playing upon the gullible's hearts, and by the time they were teenagers they were hardened and powerful pirates. By this time, their Captain had begun to grow old, and he decided to do one last steal. As they went to rob a British ship, an intense battle ensued, with both of the Captain's dying. Seeing their chance, Isaac and Joyce took over, becoming the new Captains and having vessels of their own. Their infamy and the trust from their men grew as they performed grand acts of piracy, earning them titles and making them renowned pirates off the British and African coasts.

However, their downfall came quickly, and severely. The British Navy sent out a force to destroy the two, caught off-guard in the early hours the morning. Blasts of cannonballs and flintlocks resounded as the two Captains fought to the best of their ability. However, they couldn't stop the forces and both we struck down, plummeting into the sea below. However, while their bodies were dead, their Pluses lived on, finding themselves watching their ships struck down. They managed to float back to land and wandered around, aimless as their Chains of Fate wore down, finally breaking and shifting the two into Hollows.

The two, becoming Hollows, realized quickly their hunger. However, the two were close-enough as siblings so that their hunger never turned on one another. They fed and attacked in tandem, their eyes never once turning to each other in hunger. It seemed that this bond was strong enough that, once they turned into Gillian they still refused to eat one another, as if it were instinct. After time, they changed into Adjuchas, overpowering the other Hollow's personalities and reigning dominant. And once they became Adjuchas was when they were found by Vincent.

The man, seeing their power, offered the two a place in his kingdom as Arrancar. The two accepted the offer, becoming more powerful and seeing the world of Los Noches. However, seeing it they realized that Vincent was not a man of their tastes, and his goals shady. So, the duo took what they could and departed into the sands, striking out to make their own way. It was during their travels that they found an underground cave, which they set up shop in and transformed into their underground hideout and home, allowing them to store the massive amounts of valuables they desired. And from then on the two began their life of piracy once more, taking as they pleased without a care for the law, relying on each other and the few allies they made along the way.

Name: Joyce Valentine

Alias: Captain Joyce (Former), Joyce of the Sea

Race: Arrancar

Nationality: Moroccan

Eyes: Red ( 2.bp.blogspot.com/-32hGBWeMxJc… ). Her eyes are roundish-almond in shape, and have few lines. A scar crosses vertically down her left eye, stopping at the brow.

Hair: Black ( www.sanjeev.net/colors/color-c… ). Joyce's hair is dreaded, and done in a ponytail that trails down to her shoulders.

Mask Fragment: Joyce's mask fragments are on both sides of her neck, taking the form of smooth patches of bone that resemble fish scales. Both sides have a large black coloration going vertically down the middle of the scales, with the rest being the standard white.

Build: Joyce possesses a slightly lighter skin tone then her brother ( i.beautylish.co/AVgNNE8qfYHu7X… ). Her body is a mesomorph type, toned and has muscle, due not only to working on a ship and fighting on the high seas, but her own training as an Arrancar. She has a standard bust size (B) and sharp features.

Clothes: Joyce wears a modified Arrancar outfit. She is a sleeveless collared shirt, a black sash and a set of hakama and boots. She wears fingerless gloves on her hands, and a gold necklace with a emerald-embedded piece underneath it. She wears a piece of cloth in her hair to tie it up, and sometimes a bandana.

Zanpakuto: Archer Pescado ("Archerfish" in Spanish), Water Type. Joyce's zanpakuto takes the form of a straight saber, 50cm in length. The handguard is actually a pistol, and can fire Bala and Cero's from it. The hand wrappings are black and aquamarine, going all the way to the hilt. The sheath is an aquamarine color, and Joyce wears it at left hips side.

Resurrecion: The release command is Disparar ("To Fire" in Spanish). Joyce raises her zanpakuto eye level, cocking back the trigger on the pistol and charging reiatsu into it before turning it up to the sky and firing it. The reiatsu bursts, drenching her in water and revealing Joyce's Res. In Resurrecion, Joyce becomes covered in bone-like scales and gills, looking like a merwoman. A bone mask of a fishes teeth covers her face, and in Resurrecion the Arrancar's weapon has become two flintlock pistols.

Tiro ("Shot" in Spanish): Joyce's main ability. In Resurrecion, her pistols not only shoot Cero's and Bala, but fire high-speed water bullets from the barrels. These water blasts are strong enough to punch holes through concrete and walls, and are very fast, able to cover great distances quick. As they travel farther, however, they lose power, and a objects that are tougher than concrete and rock take longer for Joyce to destroy.

Bateria De Fuego ("Barrage of Fire" in Spanish): Joyce's strongest ability. The Arrancar charges water into her guns, before releasing a massive rapid-fire barrage of empowered water bullets, strong enough to punch through steel and cause massive destruction. They are stronger and can travel greater distances, but it takes time for Joyce to channel the water into her guns, and she can't move from that position once she unleases it.

Reiatsu: Aquamarine. Her reiatsu feels smooth and flowing, and warm as if the waves were washing over ones feet.

Brief personality: Joyce is a lot more responsible and in charge than her brother. While he's laid back, she takes control of the situation and figures out what to do next. She values items and money, but people and good allies more. She likes to establish connections and figures out the worth of individuals to her and her brother are, because as far as she is concerned they are the only ones important to her. She is smart and isn't above manipulation, however she'd rather be blunt and upfront about something personally. However, if she finds out someone isn't to be trusted or not worthy, or having lied or deceived her or Isaac, Joyce becomes ruthless and will stop at nothing to tear them down. She won't forgive anyone who misuses her or Isaac's trust, and is loyal to her brother and those she considers a true friend, and will stop at nothing to defend them.

Name: Hiroshi Kiyomizu (Hiroshi means "Generous" in Japanese, Kiyomizu means "Pure Water")

Alias: Captain Hiroshi

Race: Shinigami

Nationality: Japanese

Weight: 157 lbs

Eyes: Light Green ( www.hectarus.com/photos/photo-… ). His eyes are thin almond in shape and are full of youth and energy, and a calm and caring demeanor.

Hair: Jet Black ( www.relicsantiquemall.com/wp-c… ). His hair and facial hair is done in a traditional man bun hairstyle. ( kaiza-chan.tumblr.com/post/122… ). It is always maintained and rarely ever unclean. Hiroshi's beard is also maintained and trimmed neatly.

Build: Mesomorphic-Ectomorphic build. Like traditional samurai Hiroshi's body is built for lithe and power, with trained muscles and power. His features are squarish, and his skin has a light pale tone to it ( Basic Skin Tones ).

Distinguishing marks: 
- Large vertical scar from his left shoulderblade down to his hips; received when blocking a friend from being attacked during the Vizard's rampage


Clothes: Hiroshi wears a slightly modified version of the standard Shinigami uniform. His shihakusho has a large collar, covering his neck , and with a dark green undershirt. His hakama and tabi are standard, and he wears an older 5th Division Captain's Haori over his outfit, with his zanpakuto strapped to his left hip. He also wears a set of armguards on his forearms above his shihakusho, and bandage wrappings on his hands during training.

Former occupation: 12th Seat, 10th Seat, 3rd Seat, Lieutenant, 9th Division

Zanpakuto: Ompa ("Sound Wave" in Japanese), Sound Type. Ompa's normal look is that of a standard katana. His handguard is circular, with repeating lines that condense around the blade. It is wrapped in tan rayskin, and has a silver tassle on the end. A simple black sheath holds the blade.

Shikai: The release phrase is Uchinarasu ("To Ring" in Japanese). Hiroshi releases his zanpakuto by striking his blade against his scabbard. As soon as he does this does a ringing fill the air, reverberating and growing louder, until it condenses around Hiroshi, turning into reiatsu. It soon breaks off, revealing his zanpakuto is now a large, katana-sized tuning fork, the sides bladed.

Sonikkubuーmu ("Sonic Boom" in Japanese): Hiroshi's basic attack. Ompa generates a large amount of sound in between the fork, generating over time. At any point Hiroshi may release the sound, forming a ball of concussive sound waves that batter enemies and can send them flying. The longer the sound was stored, the stronger the attack, and vice versa. However, it is only ever strong enough to destroy a few walls before petering out at best, and the range isn't far. The sound waves can also be blocked or diverted, and are fairly limited in moving. However, Hiroshi may also hold onto the soundwaves in his blade, thus amplifying the length of his attack on the next swing. So, even if he misses the initial swing, the sound blade formed can still cut a person. However, it can't extend past 10 meters in total length, and correlates with the amount of sound charged.

Kaichou ("Harmony" in Japanese): A defensive ability of Hiroshi's zanpakuto. By turning the tips of the tuning fork downwards, Hiroshi generates a peaceful hum. This hum grows, before creating a shield of peaceful sounds that block enemy attacks. The shield is strong, and can block physical of energy attacks of considerable strength multiple times. However, if one were to exert an attack above the level of Hiroshi's current reiatsu, they could shatter it. The shield is also only a 10 by 10 meter circular field, and attacks could go over/around it. Also, Hiroshi needs a few seconds to generate the shield, one could interrupt the creation of the shield.

Osakebi/Himei ("War Cry/Shriek" in Japanese): A special ability, and unique one of Hiroshi's. By generating sound in his tuning fork, Hiroshi unleashes it on himself and all others within a certain area. It judges who is an enemy and ally based on Hiroshi's view, and uses Osakebi or Himei accordingly. With Osakebi, the tune enters ones ears, making their brain think their wounds are being soothed. It invigorates him and his teammates, allowing them to fight through pain and fatigue and effectively serving as something of a buff. However, it does not heal the wounds, but makes the pain go away, so the wounds are still there and the fighters are still damaged, making it dangerous for those with serious injury to keep fighting. As for Himei, all enemies hear a piercing shriek of sound coming from Hiroshi's zanpakuto, causing light damage and pain to those who hear it. While it isn't lethal, it does deter and hurt/confuse enemies, making it good against weaker opponents or weakened ones. However, against more powerful/healthier opponents it doesn't do much.

Bankai: Chouha ("Harmonic Wave" in Japanese) is Hiroshi's Bankai. It is released with the same command phrase as Shikai. Pointing his Shikai directly forward, Hiroshi swings it from left to right, creating a pleasant ringing. The sound waves distort the space in front of him, before erupting skywards in Hiroshi's reiatsu. It disperses in a slight shockwave outwards, revealing his Bankai. In Bankai, Hiroshi's zanpakuto shifts slightly. Now, Hiroshi wields two identical tuning fork blades, connected to each other by a thick rope. Pieces of bamboo with holes on it line the rope, and can connect together with the blades to form a long double-sided polearm, about 300 cm in total length. The bamboo is red with gold detailing, wrapping around the staff.

Fukyouwaon ("Dissonance" in Japanese): An enhanced version of Ompa's Sonikkubuーmu. In the connected blade form, both blades generate sound, condensing before being released in powerful waves. Not only are the blasts stronger and farther, but if Hiroshi mixes the different-sounding hums together it creates a much more powerful concussive blast, able to destroy multiple buildings and people caught in it. However, the same weaknesses exist; the blasts can't change direction and weaken over time, and the can be stopped by a strong enough wall. Moreover, combining the hums causes risk to Hiroshi, and if someone were to interrupt the combination it could backfire and damage the Captain.

Osakebi/Himei/Senritsu ("War Cry/Shriek/Melody" in Japanese): Hiroshi generates sound in his weapon while in staff form, before blowing on the end peace. This creates a melody from the flute, it's power changing depending on the note played. If it is a higher-pitched note played, the melody becomes an enhanced Himei, causing intense pain in enemies ears. If one were too close to the flute, their eardrums could potentially burst. If a medium-pitched tone comes out, it acts as a enhanced version of Osakebi and not only invigorating, but lending a bit of Hiroshi's own reiatsu to others, empowering them. If a low note is played, the tuning forks begin to hum. This hum increases, resonating with the earth and causing tremors in the earth. These tremors can be directed slightly, following in one target direction around 300 meters from Hiroshi. However, all three of these abilities take a lot out of Hiroshi, draining him or reiatsu quickly. Himei can hurt allies too close to Hiroshi now, and Osakebi lends out Hiroshi's reiatsu, weakening him even more than the other two. And while powerful, Senritsu doesn't discriminate, causing allies to be caught in the effect. Also, anyone in the air is relatively safe from the tremors, besides any falling debris from taller buildings/landscapes around them.

Kureshiendo ("Crescendo" in Japanese): Hiroshi's final and most powerful attack. Slowly, the man begins to charge sound with his polearm, forming the waves around him. These waves form a wall of concussive sounds around Hiroshi, building and growing. The wall can block attacks while it's charging, however each attack reduces the energy in it. However, the Captain builds strength into the sounds, making them larger and larger. When they reach their peak, Hiroshi can unleash the wall, creating a devestating shockwave as the wall moves and destroys anything in it's path. While he can build his charge fastest while standing still, Hiroshi can also generate this attack on the move, although the process takes longer. When damage happens to the wall, the amount of energy it has store decreases, and it takes longer to make. Hitting Hiroshi or distracting his thoughts can stop the attack as well.

Reiatsu: Golden. His reiatsu is smooth and seems to almost pulsate, bringing warmth to those who are in it's presence.

Brief personality: Hiroshi is perhaps most well-known as being more of the more approachable and earnest Captains among the Gotei. He is a man of kindness and compassion, and generous to a fault. While some look down upon this and could see Hiroshi being a pushover, the man is very stern when need be, trying and working his hardest to be a good Captain to honor his mother, the former Captain before him. He has a bit of an inferiority complex when it comes to his family and his heritage, and feels that sometimes he isn't good enough, getting rather depressive. However, this doesn't stop his work ethic, and the man is wholly dedicated to serving the Gotei to the best of his ability and one day surpassing the shoes he feels he needs to fill. When at slow times or off-duty, Hiroshi can be rather calm and serene, even perhaps a bit shy or nervous, especially around those he likes. This can sometimes make him mess up and end in embarrassment, but at the end of the day if his friends and loved ones are safe and happy, then he is too.

History: Hiroshi was born the son to the former Captain of the Fifth Division and a citizen from the Rukongai. Due to the excellence and time served in the Gotei, Hiroshi's household was given a noble title, and they lived in relative peace within the Seireitei. From early on, Hiroshi was taught the values of the Gotei and the Fifth Division. In his eyes, he idolized his mother and father, and wanted to be like them when he grew up.

As he matured and aged, the time came for Hiroshi to apply to the Academy to see if he was worthy of being a Shinigami. Needless to say that he possessed reiatsu and managed to pass the entrance exam with flying colors. Thus, it started Hiroshi on a journey through the Academy, remaining in the top percentage of the class until graduation. However, once time came for Hiroshi to move into a Division, he was sent to the Ninth under Izo for fear of nepotism.

Izo was a hard man on the young Hiroshi, stern and irritable. This, coupled with the fact that the first few decades Hiroshi couldn't hear his zanpakuto, developed his idolism of his family into more of an inferiority complex. His desire to fill his parents shoes and prove his worth as a Shinigami grew. Over time, Hiroshi finally managed to learn Shikai and never gave up on training, which in turn earned the respect of Izo, who moved him up in the ranks of the Ninth, after time finding his place as a Lieutenant to Izo.

He stayed as a Lieutenant for a while, learning Bankai under Izo's tutelage before his time came. His mother retired, leaving the Fifth Division in need of a Captain, something that Hiroshi volunteered to lead with Izo's and others backing. Proving he had Bankai and the skills to lead, he was promoted to Captain of the Fifth, and has lead them to this day.
