A Peaceful Picnic....?

As the sun rises into the sky, shining over the ground, Reaver trudges with a few bags in his hands ahead of Kat, who looks around as he walks. "Shouldn't I be the one leading here, since you barely know the area?" She muses a little, to which Reaver glances back at her. "Well....I think I have....a good...idea of where...I am going.....I think...." He states, looking around a little, unsure. He had only been around this area for a little amount of time, so his sense of direction was still somewhat fuzzy. Kat gives him a look, before shrugging and continuing to follow him, trusting the quiet man on where he was going. It took them another thirty minutes, but Reaver finally found where he was leading her; a small clearing, partially shaded by the trees around it and giving it a rather comfy feel. A small smile crossed his lips as he looked, before he turned to Kat. "We...are...here..." He says quietly.

Kat looks around, and smiles. "Pretty nice spot you found~" She says, pulling out the blanket she had with her and letting it down. Reaver nods, setting down the bags and looking to her. "I am...glad...I was...hoping it was good..." he murmurs, before he smiles a little. "I was...hoping....to have a....nice picnic....with you..." The Arrancar mumbles, blushing some and looking down. Kat grins, and kisses his forehead. "You are so cute, so Bruce Banner~!" She says, making Reaver blush even more and look away. "N-not cute...." Kat chuckles, her sly grin growing and she pokes his cheek. "Yes cute~!" 

Reaver's face turns even redder, and he coughs, turning his attention away from him. "W-Well....let's get the food out..." He states, moving to set out the plates and the dishes. Kat just gives a sly grin but helps, and soon enough the picnic is set up. Kat sits down, Reaver following suit. "Did you buy a lot of this?" Kat asks, looking over the prepared food. Reaver nods slowly. "I tried to cook...some....at my friends...home.....it did not....go well..." Kat arches a brow at him as he says that. "What do you mean by that?" The man looks down, and shifts uncomfortably, making Kat gain a sly grin and move closer. "Come on Reaver, what happened~?" She asks, and Reaver blushes some more. "I may...have...turned their kitchen....into a war zone......and then...attempted to cut...their oven in two...." 

Kat's eyebrows raised at that. "Woah there, don't go Hulking out over every little thing that upsets you, Reaver." She says, and he looks down. "Yeah...I am glad they...stopped me..." He says, before he blinks as Kat pulls his head up, making him look at her. "Hey now, you are pretty strong you know, you've got me helping you to control it, but you still gotta work on it yourself. So calm down, you aren't Abomination, you are a Bruce Banner and you can control the Hulk side of you." She gives him a warm smile, and he looks at her, before nodding slowly. "I know....well, at least...I cleaned it up...and repaid them....with some of the....money...I had..." He says, before turning back. "Well...let's eat....shall we...?" He asks, trying to turn the attention away from the incident.

Kat chuckles a little in bemusement at his reactions, before nodding. The meal was simple, some ingredients for a couple of sandwiches, potato salad, fresh fruit, chips and some pudding. Reaver remained mostly quiet throughout the meal, just enjoying his time with Kat, who made small talk and conversation for them. After about an hour, they finished, with Kat laying back with a satisfied sigh. "Mmm, that was good~" She chuckles, and Reaver nods. "I am glad...you liked it....I have to thank...my friend...for helping me....otherwise...I don't think...it would have been....edible..." He says, making the Vizard lady chuckle a little. With that, Kat waves a hand over her face, summoning her mask and laying back some more. "Reaver, I think I am going to take a nap~ do you mind if we stay here for a bit?" He looks up, his two-toned gaze falling on her, and then looking around, before shaking his head. "No....I don't mind..." At that, Kat smiles under her mask. "Alright then~ wake me up later then~" She says, before she goes quiet and quickly falls asleep.

Reaver sits in silence, waiting for Kat to fall asleep, before he smiles a little. "...She is.....cute..." He mutters under his breath, before the man moves, cleaning up their picnic and storing it away. He takes a breath of relief, before opening his eyes and looking around. The sun was still pretty high in the sky, and the birds and animals could be heard moving around within the brush. He sighs a little, before he grabs the sheath of his blade, pulling his nodachi out and inspecting it. His eyes scan the blade, and after a little while he sheathes it, making a mental note to maintain the blade when he got back to Kat's house. Looking for something else to do, Reaver decides to meditate in the clearing, closing his eyes and allowing his mind to calm. He sat like this for a while, not noticing the presences approaching him.

"Hey Reaver." A voice speaks, causing Reaver's eyes to open. Sitting in front of him is Sayuri, holding some of the food leftover from the picnic in her hands as she smiles and waves. His eye twitches lightly, but he sighs a little, bowing to her before glancing to Kat. She remains motions, besides her chest rising and falling slowly. He sighs, glad she didn't wake up, before flinching as Sayuri takes a bite out of some chips he had brought. He shoots her a look, making her pause as he looks to Kat. Sayuri looks over, and she nods. "Sorry..." She whispers to him, and he nods. "It's alright...." he says, before Mai comes running out of the bushes. She wears a scowl, and walks over to her zanpakuto spirit, grabbing her by the arm. "Sayuri, what are you-" She begins, before Reaver raises a finger to his lips and shushes her. Mai blinks, turning to scowl at him, before he indicates to the sleeping Kat. Mai's eyes widen, and she blushes a little in embarrassment. "Oh! I'm sorry Reaver..." She whispers, and he waves it off. "It is....alright...just...be quiet...."

Mai nods, still blushing a little, before looking to Sayuri. "Don't go running off like that Sayuri. And don't take their food!" She scolds her quietly, and Sayuri pouts. "Well they were done with it, and Reaver is cool with it, aren't you?" She asks, looking over to Reaver. He frowns a little, and sighs. "Well...it was...part of a special...picnic between...me and Kat..." He says, looking a little down as he says that. Sayuri pauses, and gulps, before quickly finishing the food she had in her arms. Mai's eye twitches at this, and she sighs in exasperation, while Reaver just twitches a bit. As she finishes the food she took, she looks up to Reaver and bows her head in apology. "I'm sorry for interrupting your picnic and taking the food without permission." She says quietly, and he arches a brow. "And yet...you finished the food...you took....?" She makes a face at him. "You know food is my weakness, bro."

Reaver sighs, and Mai shakes her head. "I told you we were going to go get something to eat, don't run away from me. You could have gotten lost." The zanpakuto spirit sighs, deadpanning. "Says the one who normally would get lost..." Mai blushes a little and sighs dejectedly, before Reaver speaks. "So...why are you....two here, anyway....? Shouldn't you....be in...the Soul Society...?" He asks, and the two look at him. "Well, part of it was that there was an Arrancar reiatsu around here that we were sent to check on, and then Sayuri got hungry so she wanted to eat. The reiatsu vanished as soon as we got here, though. Was that you?" Mai asks, and Reaver shakes his head. "No...I don't...want to put....Kat....or myself...in jeopardy...." He says, and she nods. "Alright then, but that means that the Arrancar is still out there probably." She frowns a little. "Or right here." Nemesis speaks up, Sonidoing right behind Reaver. They all stiffen and turn, and Nemesis grins, giving them a peace sign. "Sup."

Reaver's eyes narrow and he moves to grab his blade before Nemesis raises a hand. "Woah, woah. I am too drunk to fight, spitfuck. I came here for booze and I don't think I can stand right, let alone fight right. Besides, you swing at me and I will start killing innocents." He chuckles a little louder, and Reaver glances from his brother to Kat. Kat shifts, murmuring, and he moves, placing a hand over Nemesis' mouth. "Please...quiet..." He says, as Mai stands there ready to attack if need be. Nemesis arches a brow, and looks back, seeing the sleeping Kat. "Hmmm, guarding your master, little doggie~?" he cackles into Reaver's hand, and he frowns more. "Please....be quiet..." He says, a little nervous, before another presence makes him snap his head up. 

Mai turns as Amerran appears, walking slowly forward. "Nemesis-sama, you should probably learn how to be more discreet. I could easi-" He starts, before Reaver and Mai shush him. He arches a brow, and spots the sleeping Vizard. "My apologies..." he bows, whispering now as Nemesis giggles drunkenly. Mai looks a bit nervous as Sayuri, with a poker face steals a bit more food, which prompts the Captain to sigh and begin to pull Sayuri away from the food, their voices raising. Reaver's eyes are glancing around everyone, and he is feeling rather annoyed now as Kat shifts more. She was going to wake up soon with all of these people around, and it was making the former Segunda more and more on edge. As another presence appears, Reaver's eye twitches. "So that is where you guys went~ I thought we were going to go drink, hmm?"Ghenaro chuckles, being loud as he speaks, pride in his walk and features. A murmur comes from Kat as she stirs from slumber, and Reaver looks to her, before his temple throbs.

Kat wakes fully after a few minutes, not noticing what happens, before she looks around. Reaver sits in the same spot, although all around him the earth is cracked and smashed. She blinks, her eyes widening as she looks up at him. "Oi! What happened here now?" She questions, and he looks at her, bowing politely. "Hello, Kat....sleep well...?" He asks, ignoring her question as she sits upright. "Yeah, I did, but what happened here Reaver? Did you go Hulk on this place?" She asks, and he shakes his head. Reaver stands, and picks up their food and the blanket as he speaks. "No....I didn't....not sure what happened...to be honest...I was meditating....but...I am glad...you slept well..." He says, looking to her and giving her a slight smile. Kat gives him a look, before sighing. "Well, it's getting late, so let's head back, alright?" The Arrancar nods, and moves, following by her side back towards her home.

Unbeknownst to Kat, Amerran sighs as he drags Nemesis and Ghenaro across the ground, back towards a Garganta. "You two really need to learn to control yourselves...." He says with a grunt as he lugs the two along. Mai and Sayuri were also moving quickly away, both a bit pale. "I didn't think Reaver could get angry..." Sayuri comments, and Mai nods. "Y-Yeah, it was s-scary." She admits. Mai turns to Sayuri, and sighs. "We can still go get you some food, if you want. Let's just go a bit farther, okay?" Sayuri nods, and the two make their way faster out of the woods, away from the trouble.
